Medico-social kit without forensic samples

• Purpose :

  • To document the facts surrounding a case of sexual assault

• This kit may be used when one or more of the following conditions are met:

  1.  The sexual assault occurred six or more days ago.

  2. Based on your description of the incident, no forensic samples are necessary.

  3. You do not wish to report the sexual assault to the police and are not likely to do so in the future.

Forensic kit

• Purpose :

  • To document the facts surrounding a case of sexual assault

  • To collect scientific, objective evidence from your body or clothing (saliva, sperm, blood, etc.)

• This kit may be used when all four of the following conditions are met: 

  1. ​The sexual assault must have occurred within the past five days.

  2. Based on your description of the incident, it may be possible to collect some of the assailant’s biological material.

  3. You have agreed to undergo the forensic examination.

  4. You have reported, wish to report or are likely to report the sexual assault to the police.
